Love this little nook for some good food truck eats! It's conveniently right off of the I-5, tucked down with lots of parking, and down the street from the coolest Power Mart that has a spaceship on the roof and alien decor inside. Lathrop Food Plaza has something for everyone. I've never seen such diversity of flavors in such a small place - Indian, Hawaiian, Italian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Southern, and Phillipino food. There's even BBQ, coffee, and specialty dessert trucks. The right side has more seating and the entire area is outdoors, which means dog friendly! I've tried a variety of the trucks, but two things I'm addicted to and must get every . single . time . GORDITAS DE CHICHARRON PRENSADO 5/5* Charly's Super Tortas Chilangas foodtruck So simple yet so tasty and satisfying. The filling is simple with only a few ingredients - chicharrones, queso, onions, cilantro - but it creates such a creamy, salty filling that perfectly pairs with thin crispy shell. Slather it with their refreshing spicy salsa and it's a savory dream. Portion size is pretty big too and it's stuffed to the max. DORADITOS 5/5* El Mexicano foodtruck Now these are how crunchy tacos should be made! You get 3 tacos to a plate with rice and salad, including avocado. You also get to choose your meat, which I always get the birria and asada. The tortilla is puffy, but crispy and the inside is oozing in gooey melted cheese. Other honorable items to mention is the hot chicken sandwich, churros, and pretzels. Those pretzels come out piping hot straight out of the oven and will burn your fingertips, but they are oh so fluffy. The churros have variety of fillings, but can get a bit pricey. But honesty, after scarfing down the gordita and doraditos, there isn't much room for other snacks.

A good variety of food! They have from curry, Japanese, Philippine and Mexican food. They also have an Agua Frescas Bar. We had cucumber water and pineapple agua fresca. Best agua frescas. Natural and the right amount of sweetness. Service was quick. We ordered chicken curry and tacos. They have seating areas but only a few under the shade. Parking is easy to find and get around.

This was such a fun experience of food truck dining galore! Bought food from 5 different trucks and wanted to compulsively buy from every single one lol. Got me some pupusas, 15 chicken wings, cajon chicken pasta, cheese bread, agua fresca, Pho. Originally came for the Hawaiian truck that serves the garlic shrimp but they sold out within hours of opening. So many other trucks I need to try. Definitely this is a pit stop to make if you are in Manteca CA.

Lathrop Food Plaza is such a cool spot to grab some lunch or dinner. Think... permanent food festival. The food trucks are always here, so you can stop by anytime and everyone in the family can order what they want. there's a good amount of Indian and Mexican food.... Some other options included: -Italian -Gelato - fried Chicken -Churros - Chinese - Halal - Fair food (Corn dogs / Turkey legs / Funnel cake, ect) You name it- there's options for everyone. There's a good amount of seating under the solar shade canopies also, but it can get busy here so get there early.

This place was crazy packed and when we arrived a few trucks were already sold out and packing to leave. Normally most vendors 12-9pm but we arrived just past 6pm. The one I wanted to try was the Hawaiian truck oh man I'm craving the garlic shrimp and malasadas. Instead we got pho, cajun garlic chicken penne, pupusas, hot wings (that's 4 different vendors) it was yummy I'll have to go back again and update this review all I know is I wanted to order from every truck and try them all everything was yummy I even want to hit up the Filipino truck next time along with the Hawaiian.

We stopped by here finally last Sunday the 25th. This place is loaded with food trucks, countless of them. They've got a wide variety of trucks to choose from. Numerous that have Mexican food, 1 Italian, 2 Filipino, a pretzel truck, churro truck, hot chicken truck, wings truck, rolled ice cream truck, some I'm probably leaving out. It's right off the freeway, and easy to find. One thing I wish was different and probably affects their business is how scarce the parking is. There's people that drive in there, can't find parking, then leave and just eat somewhere else. It has to affect their bottom line in some capacity. We'll for good back and check out some different foods.

Came on a Monday night and maybe half the trucks were open. A little disappointed that not everything was open but makes sense. The ones that were open were Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, a hot chicken spot, and couple desserts. We ordered from a couple of different places and the food was good. We loved the fact that there was a funnel cake spot. Parking lot wasn't as big but we were able to find a spot. There were also tables in the middle and a restroom. We will definitely come back but hopefully on a weekend when more trucks are open.

AWARENESS: This food truck area began a few years back with about five trucks total. Today, its smorgasbord of food trucks. Everything from hamburgers to gyros. NARRATIVE: The wife, my doggie and I decided to finally hit the food plaza a few ago, after seeing and passing it from the I-5 too many times to count. Pulling in, I was amazed to see so many specialty food trucks, all with they're own theme and cuisines. The wife opted for a BBQ truck and had a Tri-tip sandwich and I went with pasta a truck I had previous reviewed. Both lunches were delicious. SCENE: The Lathrop Food Plaza is located in the town of Lathrop on Harlan Frontage Road. The main access road to get there from I-5 is E. Louise Avenue. Parking can be challenge if you visit during peek times and there is NO street parking on Harlan Road. There are a few side streets a few blocks away where you can find street parking but, you will have to walk. The plaza host many and different food trucks. Everything from hamburgers to deserts. You're sure to find something you like eat, I promise. The plaza also has several covered picnic tables to dine at and they also have two unisex restrooms. RECOMMENDATION(S): If in the area or just passing by, why not give this place a try. It doesn't cost to enter nor look around.

I love this food plaza! I've tried Asian cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Mexican and soul food from here and I absolutely loved them all! Everyone is so friendly and the customer service is top tier! It is outside so It can get very hot here so we always order and eat in the car. We've been when it is really busy and barely any parking and we have also been when it is slow. Either way I highly recommend this plaza! They have a variety of food and desserts. If you are in the area and want some amazing food with a lot of choices this place is perfect!
